There are also profound lessons to be learned that art divides into three distinct categories of Rhythmic art, Imitative Art and Abstract Art. The first consists of vocal and nonvocal music, dancing and poetry where rhythm is the center of gravity. The forward motion in time units in such rhythm makes the rhythm fluid. Then, we have rigid rhythm in which the elements used to create rhythm are fixed in place and are separated, not by time units, but by linear space. Imitative art consists of painting, sculpture, writing, film production and acting. In this category artists use their skills and talent to imitate that, which already exists. In painting, or making a sculpture, the artist tries to replicate what already exists. A writer imitates events that develop from human interactions, while an actor either imitates a person in real life, or plays a character created by a writer, all of which are imitations. In rhythmic art the objective is creating perfect rhythms, yet to be defined, while in imitative arts the artists mostly strive for perfection and excellence in replication. Then, we also have abstract art that appeals to a different instinct. Each of these art categories relates to a certain mental faculty, however, these mental faculties are not equally as sensitive and we react to different arts with different intensities. Thus, for instance, people scream, cry and some even faint in concerts performed even by average artists, but they never react that way in museums when they are exposed to arts created by true masters such as Michael Angelo, Raphael, Picasso and so on.
